You may have seen recently in the news that there’s been an issue at Marie Stopes – who provide services in Warwickshire (and across the country) to women who are considering terminating their pregnancy. They were inspected by the Care Quality Commission and been told to suspend services to some people (for instance those under 18 years old) until the issues identified have been sorted.
An unplanned pregnancy can be a difficult time and we’re really sorry that there are problems with the service. If you need to talk to someone about your options for an unplanned pregnancy Marie Stopes are still the people to contact. They will refer you onto another service so that you get the advice and support that you need. Please don’t think that because there’s a problem you can’t get the help you need.
As usual all services can be found via our service finder
